Single Session

A single session is highly customizable one-on-one instruction for you and your dog. I can give you tips and tricks for stopping annoying or stressful behaviors, stepping up your training, provide general dog behavior education, and much more! These sessions can take place in a variety of locations depending on what you and your dog may need help with.

This single session is perfect for you if your dog is pulling you so hard you feel like you just went to the gym, you feel overwhelmed and embarassed when you have guests over because your dog is jumping all over everyone and barking, or your dog is getting into the trash or stealing food off the table.

  • Dogs that pull on the leash
  • Dogs that are overly-excited in the house

What does a training session look like?

It all starts with a free 30-minute phone consultation. During this consultation we will talk about what you’d like to see out of training, what behaviors you’d like your dog to stop doing, what you’ve tried so far, and anything else you think I should know. By the time most people reach out to a dog trainer they have already been through physical, social, and emotional hardship with their dogs. This is a judgement-free space to be honest about your dogs behavior and how it affects you.

Once I get a good idea of what is going on with your dog and we decide which program best suits your needs, we will schedule a date and time for your training session. Typically, first and single sessions are done in your home or while walking around your neighborhood. This ensures you get hands-on instruction on what to do in your day-to-day life with your dog.

After our session I will reach out via email with any notes or resources that will be useful to you and your dog on your training journey.
