Reactivity can be emotionally draining, embarassing, and sometimes dangerous. This program is about supporting reactive dog owners just as much as it is about rehabilitating reactive dogs.

Virtual Training is perfect for dog owners who have time to dedicate to training their dog at home and do not have a dog with difficult behavioral issues.

Rainy Day Dog Training aims to help owners better understand their dogs while giving them the tools and confidence they need to live a fulfilling life with their dog! Dogs that suffer from bad manners, over-excitement, anxiety, fearfulness, and reactivity can be difficult to manage. We want to support dog owners by providing them the skills and tools they need to train their dog and empower them so that they can feel comfortable handling their dog in situations that would’ve been difficult beforehand.
Owners Commitment
- Training is a lifelong commitment to your dog. Rainy Day Dog Training can provide your dog with solid obedience training, coping skills, and structure. However, if the training is not maintained your dog will likely revert back to past behaviors and poor decision making. This does not mean that you will have to train hard every day. Most of this maintenance will be done by providing a regular routine for your dog, enforcing boundaries, and holding your dog accountable for what they already know.
- While we do train dogs, we also train people how to train their dog. You must be willing to put time into your dog in order to see positive results. Rainy Day Dog Training will give you all the information, training, and tools necessary for you and your dog to be successful; however you must be willing to make changes to how you interact with your dog and be committed to learning! Training is so much more than obedience, it is about teaching your dog how to coexist peacefully and happily in a human world.
